I had a rough week last week.
It seemed the positivity fairies left me, alone, run down and with a To-Do list I didn’t want to tackle.
Personally the week was pretty good. I had some unexpected days off which I completely capitalized on and I took the time for some TLC for me.
Internally though I was riding the roller coaster of “what-if’s,” and “this never will work” along with a visit to, “you really should have done this instead.” I found myself thinking that maybe I needed to rethink my plans, that maybe I should visit something more “mainstream” more “practical.”
That’s always a bad spiral for me to fall into. It usually means I am about to jump ship and pick up some nice little respectable routine that the rest of the world understands.
And that will make me completely miserable and compromise everything I am about.
Or something a little less dramatic.
It took some doing, but I managed to pull myself out. Well not really, the cycle just ran it’s course and I am now starting to peak around the corner and lo-and-behold there are positivity fairies dancing in the distance.
So here I sit at the beginning of a new week working out plans, thinking things through and trying to focus on what matters, what I want to have manifest in my life and the HOWS of making it a reality.
Afterall, even big, crazy, beautiful dreams need to be grounded so you can get things done.
Firstly I am going to put the finishing touches on my poetry book and send her off to print! Next I want to finish my first full-fledged workshop so I can send it out to those select people that are going to test drive her for me.
Why am I telling you this? Accountability partly, but mainly because I think it’s important to share the full process of things.
I don’t know about you but I follow some amazing bloggers and I often wonder how they did it? How did they get their huge following, build their dream business and stay happy and positive all the time?
Truth it they didn’t.
They struggled just like I am struggling and the stories they share about that part are just as inspiring and important as the “how-to’s.”
I also thought that since I am seeing some positive light headed my way I would share the wealth and offer you, my amazing readers, a discount!
