I am coming off of a lovely week of family time. My husband had 11 days off from work and we used the time to celebrate my little boy’s 3rd birthday, work in the garden and sleep in. I also spent some time rearranging my online world. Some of you may know that I was a Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator however last year I had to step away from the business. I really loved making and sharing all the fun paper crafts and so last week I signed back up! I am beyond excited! I have a great new team, some ideas already brewing and so I went about cleaning up space for my new little baby.
I decided to bring my Dreaming Dilettante site back to it’s origins-all about creative living and I decided to start writing here on this site again as a bit of a personal blog. A place to share a mishmash of hobbies, vacations, fun, family and well-me. It will still serve as a landing page leading to my various online worlds but the primary focus will be to share here about my hobbies and my family. I haven’t had just a personal blog in probably more than a decade and I am excited to venture back in.
I also decided to do some personal vlogging. A few years back I took part in Vlogmas and had so much fun! I haven’t done much with the channel since and so I thought why not get that going again? I decided that the revamped channel will be where I share vlogs, videos on gardening, planning, home life, unboxings and that sort of thing. If you are looking for my art journal and crafting videos those will stay at home over on The Dreaming Dilettante channel and the new Stampin’ Up! tutorials I create will have their own little home over at Carriage House Crafter. If you stop by any of them please do say “hi” and let me know what you think!
For today I thought I would lead off with an unboxing video. I decided in April that I really wanted to start getting some monthly subscription boxes to offer inspiration and mainly to help me with my memory keeping goal. (I hope to have some videos of that to share as well) I am going month to month on all but the Messy Box Subscription which was the second one I signed up for. There was a discount for a 12-month commitment and since the monthly fee wasn’t too expensive I thought I would jump in.
Below is the video where I share my thoughts and ideas on the box but I will also post the pricing details below but be sure to check their site for the current information.
I think going forward when I decide to try for a box I am going to always do a one month trial before committing. In the end I would rather pay a bit more in the beginning and know that it’s a box I am excited to receive than to try and save some money and end up committed to something I know isn’t the right fit.
Here are the details:
Monthly Cost: $19.99/month for 12 months
$21.99/month for 6 months
$24.99/month on a month-month

If you like the video be sure to subscribe to my new YouTube channel and to the blog here where you will receive the latest posts via email.
Here’s to a beautiful day!
Sincerely,
Michele
