Welcome to Filofax Friday!
I am really excited to be taking part and hope to make this a weekly series here on the blog as well as my YouTube channel so please comment below and tell me what sorts of things you want to see.
So last week I went and purchase not one, not two, but THREE new planners.
Absurd right?
Well first let me say that I bought them all on sale or fairly inexpensively and stayed within my budget so WOOHOOO for me!
“Why on earth does someone need 3 new planners?”
Believe me I get it.
When I first delved in to the whole Filofax Phenomenon I thought the same thing.
Until I opened up my first Filofax Saffiano in Raspberry.
She’s so pretty.
And in that moment, I got it.
Now let me start off by saying I am not OVERLY organized. In fact, I don’t like to have a lot of scheduled time, or “to-do’s” and all that structured living just messes with my mojo and makes me cranky and want to go listen to music really loud in my bedroom while eating cake.
I do however like to remember what bills need to be paid and when, what I did with the forms for our registration and where the paperwork for our taxes are.
Still the whole idea of a “planner” was way to college prep for me.
So I decided instead to think of mine as a “manifester.” A place where I gather up all the parts of myself and fit them together so they make sense.
Or at least remember what we did with the new insurance cards.
Now as for my 3 new planners I do have a special and unique purpose for each of them.
In fact my current Saffiano is going to be the only actual calendar/planner while the rest will be housing a special magic all their own.
This week I am sharing with you my actual “planner” the aforementioned Saffiano (personal size) in Raspberry.
I am walking you through how I decorate my pages and what sort of information I pluck in to my week on 2 pages. If you would like to see a full set-up of this planner you can watch that video below.
And now we are off to the show. You can watch the video by clicking below or hopping over to my YouTube channel here.
